Ita Gibney appointed to Board of Institute of Directors (IoD)

Ita Gibney, Managing Director of Gibney Communications, has been appointed to the board of the Institute of Directors (IoD) in Ireland.
One of three new members appointed at the Institute’s AGM in Dublin last week, Ita Gibney is joined on the board by Myra Garrett and Kevin Neary, in addition to newly elected President, Tom Byrne.
Ita Gibney was previously an Executive Director in one of Dublin’s largest public relations consultancies and Group Director of Corporate Affairs at Greencore Group plc. She is an honours graduate (BA) of UCD, holds an MA (English) from McMaster University, Canada and an MSc (communications) from Boston University, which she attended as Ireland’s John F Kennedy Scholar.
